i am a woman who had 1600 fut transplants just over a week ago. I am interested in any information that will help me prevent "shock loss"---

I read an article once that stated that using minoxidil after a transplant may help to prevent shockloss. I can't recall which doctor authored the article. Usually you have to wait a week to two weeks before you can use minoxidil after a transplant. What does your post-op instructions say?

thanks for the suggestion--i will see my doctor in a few days and will ask. also, do you know the best way to reduce redness in the transplant site?
