In my area of hair loss at the front there are lot's of little vellus hair's and some terminal hairs. I know these vellus hairs are in their last stages of growth but could they ever turn back into terminal hairs with the use of propecia?

I think it is possible. I had a hair in front of my hairline by about 1cm that was easy to wathc. It just wouldn't die as my hairline receded over the years. Then in the last few years I noticed it was gone, or I thought. I finally saw it with a magnifying glass as a weak vellus hair. Soon after I started Finasteried, it started growing like a normal hair and has been that way ever since.

Yes Gorpy is correct. That is the premise of how typically propecia will work.
