I had a hair transplant just under three months ago. Recently, I began to notice a number of red bumps on the are where I had the transplant.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Johna1a,

Yes, this is perfectly normal. These ingrown hairs are signs of activity underneath the skin. In my experience, new hair starts to pop through 2-4 weeks after signs of pimples in those areas. If the pimples get bad or hurt, you might want to moisten the skin with a warm damp cloth by letting it sit there on your scalp for 10-15 minutes a few times a day.

Best wishes,

Falc
