I want to know just how much more expensive is FUE than the Strip method? If I was to have a 2000 graft strip session at $5.00 a graft Canadian ($3.25 American(roughly)), which would then be a total of $10,000(Canadian). What then would an FUE session cost with the same 2000 grafts?

Also, it appears that some doctors may be flexible with their prices, so ask each doc individually.

I charge $6.50 per graft for 2000 fue's over 2 days. I will do up to 1000 fue's per day. Both the donor and recipient are undetectable in 7 days.
For a strip, I charge $6000 for 2000 grafts, all dissected under the microscope into follicular units and planted into .9 to 1 mm lateral slits,

How long and wide is the strip for 2000k grafts?I heard many grafts die with a mega session due to blood supply.

What is the transection rate with FUE ?

The size of the donor strip for 2000 grafts varies depending on density. The average is about 1.5 cm by 20 or 22 cm.
My transection rate for fue is about 3 - 4 %. Even the transected hairs will continue to grow in the scalp so there is no net hair loss.
