I am 5 months post HT and I am surprised to see results so soon.My hair is really coming in fairly quickly.
The last 2 months I have had alot of interruptions.Going out of state on vacations, two bouts of the flu, etc. I have gotten lazy and for about a month have stopped using Rogaine but I have continued taking Propecia without miss.
Is stopping the Rogaine or even using it just once a week, a mistake?

Thanks,
Marc

Any hair kept/gained by use of Rogaine will quickly dissappear after discontinuing its use.

If you feel that the Propecia is holding you up, then feel comfortable ditching the Rogaine.

I think if you haven't noticed any real shedding by now, you should be OK.

Continue to monitor your level of loss, just to make sure.

Hope this helps you out!

whoshaq,

I agree with B Spot above. Minox will do you know good if you take is sporatically nor will it do you any good taking it once a week. You MUST take it at least once a day in order for it to be effective. However, as B Spot pointed out, if you feel it's not doing anything for you and Finasteride is keeping your level of hairloss at bay, feel free to ditch the minox, but monitor your hairloss by taking pics every month with the SAME camera in the SAME lighting to make sure you are not losing further hair.

Thank you to both of you for the info. I think I will just get strict and start using the rogaine regularly again.
