Spex was the author of this thread.

If you notice BIB's own high res close up pics under bright lighting his hair is much darker than his pre op thinning hair pics. This is very common for hair to be darker post op -
1. Due to it being unweathered
2. Being much stronger than the previous weathered thin hair.

Does anyone agree with this?

i have never heard of hair becoming "weathered"and you will have seen that i asked dr feller why bibs hair looked a lot darker in his pics than bibs own.this is the explanation spex gave so i suppose we will have to go with it.my own hair although very light when it first came through only darkened to match my native hair.

Folica, I agree with that. I'm not sure that it is from being weathered or not, but all of us can look at the hair in the back of our heads and it tends to be darker. So, yes, when it is moved to the front it will be darker.

balody & gorpy, thanks for your response.

I was hoping this to be true in my case because I had a lot of white hair in the donor area.

I am surprised that my new sprouts are dark!

The grafts that didn't shed are still white.

thanks again guys!
