Guys, Just thought I'd leave an update on day 9. Feeling great now, the swelling is all gone and I'm getting my stitches out tomorrow. Still a little sore in the back but hoping once the stitches are out that will feel good and the tightness will go away. Now I have to sit back and be patient and wait for the hair to come in! Thanks for all the feedback and encourgement, this is a great site.

Glad to hear you are doing well. You'll be tender in the back and sides of the head for awhile...even after the stitches come out...BUT, if you are like me and have amazing itch the last few days with the stitches in, you'll be mighty happy they are out! Keep us posted!

I had minor pain while my stitches where taken out, and I'm here to tell you, it was so good to get them out that I actually enjoyed that pain!

And I'm not that kind of guy.

lol Mark. I have to say taking staples out is a little more painful than stitches...but it was nice to be able to take them out myself...though from what I understand I'm the only person crazy enough to remove his own staples :P
