Just Curious if anybody has got any input on Dr. Shorry in Alabama. Is he a suggested Dr. or not?

Dr. Shorry is not on this website's "recommended" list, if that means anything to you. There are no "recommended" doctors in Alabama.

It's possible that Dr. Shorry is a good doctor who is just unknown, although frankly, the good doctors in the field are an extreme minority. There are FAR more bad or just plain average hair transplant doctors, than there are great ones. Since an "average" hair transplant can be spotted by everyone as a hair transplant, I recommend that you make sure that you find an excellent doctor who can consistently give his patients excellent results. You will probably need to travel, to see one of these rare doctors.

Does Dr. Shorry's clinic use microscopes to dissect Follicular Unit grafts, or does he use an outdated Minigraft approach?

If Dr. Shorry uses a mix of Minigrafts and Micrografts, I would not choose him. Since most doctors still use this outdated approach, odds are good that Dr. Shorry does too. Ask him.

Look at the article Best_hair_transplant_procedure, you might even print it out and ask him if he uses this EXACT same approach.
