Hi,
I have recently started using minoxidil again after a break of 4 months. The reason I stopped it previously was because I thought I was losing more hair because of that. The actual reason was that I have lot of dandruff and when I applied minoxidil on top if that it caused flaking and I was losing hair because of that. And I stopped using minoxidil. And I lost my thick hair which got dependent on minoxidil and pushed myself into a place where I need a HT.

So before going for HT my doc advised to get onto minoxidil for next 3-6 months. But its again causing flaking and I feel like my scalp is on fire whole day. I am losing a lot of hair everyday. So I am looking for a soothant which can reduce flaking. Any advises?

I heard of this emu oil. But does that work. They even claim it does the same job as minoxidil. Is it true?

I use Stephan dandruff air tonic, which helps considerably. You can get it on line from Bowman Barber and Beauty.

Switch to the foam. I can't use the spray.
But I like the foam.
