Yesterday a specialist gave me a relax massage in all my body, even in my head
She did it strongly, my question is… could be a damage in the transplant area? I'm almost 5 months post HT 2804 grafts 1104 single hairs 1318 2 hairs 382 3 hairs and a few 4 hairs for a total of just around 5000 hairs |

the grafts shouldn't be of concern to you from the the strong massage "in" your head;
I would be a little worried about brain tissue though. Was this to stimulate new brain cell growth? if so, how much does she charge? PM with her contact info... |

No.. it was only a relax massage, not stimulate new brain cell growth... And I'm from Veracruz, México 2804 grafts 1104 single hairs 1318 2 hairs 382 3 hairs and a few 4 hairs for a total of just around 5000 hairs |

Notgoing2gobald is right. Transplanted hair is secured by 10 days post op and at 5 months, any hair growing is just like your regular hair. It is possible that vigorous rubbing of the scan can induce some hair shedding however, all of this hair will grow back and would have shed any way as part of the natural hair growth cycle. MAN! the exact same thing happenned to me last night! I got a strong scalp massage in addition to a full body/foot massage and I swore I lost a ton of hair. In fact i could see about 10-20 hairs on my shirt and i started tripping out again as usual. I'm already 20 months post op and I still have the nervous breakdowns about loosing my grafts. I could swear my hairline looks thinner after the scalp massage but my girl friend thinks i'm smoking crack. Thanks for insuring my follicles are intact guys.
0.5 mg Avodart daily since 6/19/06 1950 grafts with Dr. Hasson in the front line 6/19/06. |
