Has anyone else experienced prolonged numbness in the recipient area? I am 2 1/2 months post-op and still have no feeling at the top of my head (from the hairline towards the crown - about 4-5 inches) I'm beginning to wonder if this numbness is permanent. Are the nerve endings up there dead because of the large session (2400 fu)?
Any similar experiences?

This is common and almost never permanent. I would expect that over the next 2 months you will have nearly all of your sensation back. Cutaneous nerves are small and hook up again; but it takes time.
