I've been taking Propecia daily for about 11 months now. It seems to have slowed the hair loss significantly, but it also seems to have slowed the growth of my beard. I admit to hate shaving but before the Propecia I would shave 2 to 3 times a weeks. Now, it's one time a week, and if I'm really lazy I can go longer without co-workers joking about being lazy. Is this a typical side effect? It doesn't bother me, but I'm just curious. Thanks,
Joe

Uhm...maybe I'm the only one having this side effect?

No, it is a possible side effect: decreased body hair. DHT is not just responsible for making hair fall out on the scalp. It is also a major factor in body hair growth. Strange huh?

I have to shave everyday (job requirement). I could only wish it slowed down my facial hair growth, but I haven't noticed any effect on that although it would be nice...
