I have scheduled my surgery appointment in April. I will be traveling from Phoenix to Tucson. Anyway, my surgery will be on a Monday.
Here is the problem. I want to go back to work Monday night. I work third shift, so I would be able to do it if I had to. Also, my job is a laid back office type position and not strenuous at all. The Dr suggests I spend the night in Tucson. She says I would still be sedated after the surgery. I do appreciate her concerns. But is this really necessary? Has anyone traveled and gone back to work on surgery day? I know the ideal situation would be to take the day off. Maybe take the week off. Believe me I would love to. But this is not possible at this time and I would rather not wait any longer. Any thoughts on this? |

if u must go back to work and don't mind, thats cool. But the issue is the sedative. When i had my last procedure i walked out 6-7 hours later, and had worn off, and i drove myself home thru Manhattan in rush hour. But looking back, was not the smartest, stay if u can
