Anyone know how to determine the type of hair growing after a HT? This is probably a question better posed to those who had a HT where there was no hair. Here's a little more detail......

My first HT was a fill-in around existing hair so I really didn't see it growing much. Just noticed thickening over time........maybe saw a few of them where my hair was a little thinner.

Second HT grafts were mainly placed where I had very little or no hair. Now, I'm at 2 months post-op, have been getting bunches of ingrown hairs for the past 2 weeks or so and believe I'm seeing growth starting.

Some of my HT hair from first HT was shocked out. Should a person be able to determine what is growth from the new HT and what is re-growth of shocked hair from a prior HT? I've seen a few sprouts in the temples and front but they appeared to come in darker. Most of my 2nd HT was in the crown and mid-scalp but the hairs coming in there seem very, very fine and light in color.

Does HT hair come in dark? Does prior HT hair come in dark since it had already been growing before??

Just wondered if anyone had a clue here. Any replies are appreciated. I guess, in the end, it'll all grow out and thicken........I'm just hoping that the little fine guys appearing now are from my recent HT.

Thanks,
