Mopar,
Our patients shave, cut, or style normally 10 days post op. The grafts are definately adhered by then. I'm employed as the lead medical tech and surgical manager for the Shapiro Medical Group. Feel free to ask me any questions. |

Mopar,
Welcome again to the forums. I'll echo what Janna has already said....wait at least 10 days to trim/cut the recipient area, though honestly, since the recipient hair soon after a transplant can be more fragile, I'd suggest waiting a month before you cut it...but that's just me. You can shave the donor area just about at any point assuming you are careful, just keep in mind, the shorter you shave the donor area, the more of the scar you will reveal.
