This was posted before, but no one seemed to have a satisfactory answer or time-frame for using Rogaine after a transplant. Some suggested the alcohol was detrimental to recent transplants. So, is there any established protocol on when it's safe to begin? Or does anyone have any threads on the studies done post HT?

When I had my HT,
the doctor told me 14 days after I could use rogaine again on the grafted area.
(I went to Bosley, just in case that would influence your opinion.)

That is the timeframe they gave to me. Maybe others will have some ideas.

At Shaprio Medical they indicated it would be okay to start using Rogaine 1 week after the procedure.

Here's some info on Minoxidil post-transplant... this isn't exactly "proof" but maybe enough of a reason to give Minoxidil a try:

What ever you do DO NOT USE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE on your new hair. It will KILL THEM!
