I would think that when the scabs are gone, you'd be good to go.

As long as the moon shall rise
As long as the rivers flow
As long as the sun shall shine
And the grass will grow
Let me listen, I will learn to speak
The old language
Yes, I yearn to bathe in blue skies
And fall apart from the world of machines
Regain my feet and my pounding heart

I would wait a good 2 maybe even 3 weeks. Why? Simply because you just spent thousands of dollars on this!!!!! I have heard of guys washing their hair in the sink for 3 months, and won't hit their scalp with more than lukewarm water out of cup. Listen, the grafts should be seated after a week, but why chance it? Also, give the newly transplanted fella's a chance to breathe Big Grin I am sure it is ok after a couple of weeks, but why take the chance?

I am a Patient Advocate/Advisor for the Shapiro Medical Group. I am not a doctor. My views and comments do not necessarily represent the views of the Shapiro Medical Group. However, I have stayed at a Holiday Inn.......twice.

6721 transplanted grafts
13,906 hairs

You're talking about cutting your native hair after HT, right? Because the grafted hair will eventually fall out anyway.

I'm now 6 days after HT and I cut my sides and back to match the "burr" on top. I was VERY, VERY careful not to run into the grafted hair while doing so. Additionally, I was mindful not to hold the clippers against my head because of what the vibration might do to the grafts. I think after they are seated, a week or so as B spot said, it would be safe but wanted to error on the side of caution.
