Mine is coming up June 28 with Dr. Keene. Any advice on what I can do to optimize the result from the surgery before the surgery?

The thing that immediately comes to mind.....as I prepare for my upcoming HT w/ Dr. Wong, is scalp stretching exercises. Do them every day if you can.

Other than that, pay attention to the pre-op instructions as to what not to drink or take before HT at certain time frames.

What's your situationi, finnari? Where are you on the Norwood scale, what is your age, how many grafts is Dr. Keene going to try and harvest???

Hairbank

1st HT 1-18-05 - 1200 FUT's
2nd HT 2-15-06 - 3886 FUT's Dr. Wong
3rd HT 4-24-08 - 2415 FUT's Dr. Wong

GRAND TOTAL: 7501 GRAFTS

current regimen: 1.25mg finasteride every other day

I am a class 2 or 3 I think. I will try to download some pics for you guys. She says she will put 1500 grafts mostly in the front of my hairline. I am 40 years old.
Thanks for the advice.

Hey finnari,

Same age as me..........just proves us "young middle agers" want hair just like the twentysomethings!

Glad to hear you're only a 2 or 3. One thing I'll mention.......and you likely know this but it bears repeating......if you're lowering the hairline you need some density so be sure to get enough. Dr. Keene does quality work so I'm sure you'll be fine. I'll be anxious to follow your progress.

June 28th, eh? I'm envious...I have 2 more long months before meeting with Master Wong. I'm ready to "get down to it".
