I was lookin at my dad today and noticed how thin his donor area is. I currently use 15%minox, 5% minox am/pm and am thinkin about adding spiro soon.....
anyway, does anyone know if treatment topically to the areas which are resistant to MPB will help to stop the thinning process that occurs in all of us over time? In other words, should one treat the donor area with topicals? |

I think that taking an internal DHT-inhibitor would be your best bet on preserving your donor. Using minoxidil on a thinning crown is a pain in the butt enough. I couldn't imagine trying to apply it to the back of the head.
