Start by doing some research on this site. There are several questions that will need to be answered.....

1) your husbands age & degree of loss
2) whether or not he has the available donor hair and if the pattern of loss is far enough along to safely determine
3) does your husband do anything for loss preventions like use Minoxidil or take propecia?

Using the "find" feature on this site can be invaluable. The list of Coalition Surgeons recommended by this site are what we believe are the "best of the best" when it comes to hair transplants so you may review them and try to schedule your husband for a consultation with one of them. This can be done by sending pics of his loss via email then setting up a time to talk by phone. The consultation's are free.

Hope this helps.

pamlrt,

You've come to the right place. There are many members here that are fountains of information and will be happy to help you.

In addition to what hairbank already said...posting photos of his hairloss condition on this site will help us be able to give more accurate information.

It's important that he research thoroughly so he knows what a hair transplant is...the risks involved, etc. Feel free to check out my links below which gives a pretty detailed account of my procedures. Yes, I've had 3 of them, third one is not grown in yet.
