This maybe a dumb arse thread, but here goes.
Like many other people, making that final decision on HT may come down to a few good photos seen on the Web or the surgeon’s glossy web page. Obviously as a business you are going to only show your best work. Even if you were to meet patients from the clinic they would probably be recommendation or "showcases" So my thought was - is there, or has there even been an open convention. Obviously not on a large scale as the individual cost on travel would be huge, but do any of the coalition surgeons stage open days?? Like I said this is probably a dumb question but taking into account the thousands of $$$ I have managed to convince my wife to part with a few days away researching may save money in the long term.

Hello

You can always ask a doctor to contact some of his patients to see first hand. The beauty of this site is many on here ( as I) do not work for any doctor so you get objective feedback.
As far as open days, you can many times get an appt though a cancellation

Good luck

Falconny,

The beauty of this online community is that real patients come to share their experience and photos.

This helps perspective hair transplant patients get past the hype of advertising and marketing and see real results posted by the patients.

In my opinion, following a patients month by month progress is one of the most rewarding experiences and best ways to determine whether or not it's the "real deal". Of course, this does take some time (12 months for a hair transplant to mature) however, during this time, you can participate and try non surgical hair loss treatments to see if they work for you.

Meeting real patients in person if possible is always advisable.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Falc
