I've had my strip op schedulled for today but finally skipped it at the very last moment because the docs said that a certain medication I'm taking should not be used together with the specific anesthetics.I will probably do it next week.the problem is that the docs were a bit weird and I heard sth about ephedrin. Is it common to use ephedrin in these kind of operations?Again,I might be chasing ghosts, but let me know and I'll give you the details on this story

Philippos,

I'm honestly not sure but it seems to me that it would be counter-productive.

Because one of the effects of Ephedrin is possible increased blood pressure, it could make for a bloody surgery.

I'd be interested to hear some doctor input on this one.
