Just recently had a HT done with him. He is located in Dickson City, PA. Has anyone ever heard of him? He charged me about $2.80 per graft and now that I think about it is rather cheap. His web site is http://www.medhaircenter.com/

So far so good, but its too soon to tell, only a couple of months. I was very hasting in choosing him, I only went with my gut feeling. I didn't do any reseach at all into his background - stupid I know.. Eventually I have a feeling I will need more sessions.

Any feedback would really be appreciated.

Try Dr. Gallagher in Phila. Pa. Had 2 with him.
For $ 2.80 a graft was it Fu or mini-micro graft ?

I'll look into Dr. Gallagher. Are you satisfied with with his work? How much did he charge?

Well I can't find my contract with dr albert, but I paid $4500 for 1600 graphs - so I did the math. Although I see now that that would not be very helpful. I think I had about 300 mini graphs, I'll do some digging to see if I can find it.

I had a 1000 ht transplant 6 months ago. came to like 5.25 a graft. I was a 5 with a light dusting on top, good crown. I went for 900 more
for hairline and temples one month ago. I am pleased so far but need another5 months for most recent one to give comments. I know there is no
mini-micro with mine, all fu.

Hi Marc, I Just had 1500 grafts from Dr Mark Albert Pa for $3.00 a graft -Yours were $2.80? How did you get 20 cents off?(coupons?) anyway I called a few of his clients and they were all satisfied with the results of there HT, that's why I used him.
They all seemed to be very professional and they were very helpful and not pushey at all -I went for two consultations with him with no preasure at all.
So far it's been 24 days post op and no problems. no fallout as of yet it's been growing so far.I know they should all fallout first then regrowth, but so far about 75 percent are hanging in there.

Do you know if the Dr. used fu's or micro's and mini's?
Did he use singles on the hairline?
The reason I ask is the recipient site crusts look huge in the front, like he used 2-3's.

His website says he uses minis and micros.

Results of my 1424 FU transplant procedure on 8/16/02 can be viewed at...

If Dr. Albert still uses the outdated Minigraft approach I would recommend you look elsewhere, because you can do MUCH better.

Read this link to read why the "all FU" approach is considered the best, why Minigrafts are inferior, and why microscopes are necessary.

If you choose the strip excision method over FUE, I recommend you find a doctor who has extensive experience with microscopes and the all-FU approach.

Arfy speaks the truth- You wanna stay away from micro- mini grafts... Go with FUT, FUE, FIT only
