I would like to find out how many of the Coalition doctors have had hair transplants themselves?

How did they find the experience and which hair transplant doctors did they choose? (when they were patients)

What would they change if they had to do it over again?

take care...

Interesting topic. One thing I do know is that they obviously wouldnt have much choice if they started thinning out would they? Imagine a world class HT surgeon having a bald head. Might be bad for business.

Ive met some HT doctors who have had HT, but ive noticed that unless you ask them about it they dont volunteer the information.

I suppose everyone has a right to privacy.

Bernstein is very bald, but still considered one of the best ht surgeons. I heard he told someone since he was a NW 7 he never really was a candidate.

Cooley had one from, I think Dr. Vogul. He tells about it in the video link on this site. His baldness is what made him change to hair transplantation.

I was told Dr. Epstein had one from his staff. I thought he had really cool, natural looking hair! I'm very impressed by his staff's work!

Bosley is not a coalition doctor but I know he had one also. Ironically the doctor that did his HT spoke out against the Bolsey corporation on Dateline NBC I think

It would be interesting to get responses from some of the actual Coalition doctors.

It was the original intention of the post, though forum members are welcome to contribute.

mmhce,

Not many of our recommended physicians follow every thread. So you may not get too many answers from doctors unless you email them to reply.

I agree that this is an interesting topic Smile

Best wishes,

Bill (Falc)

If so, he's got a good looking head of transplanted hair imo. And, I imagine Dr. Bosley was / is a very good surgeon. The problem is, when the best doc starts franchising out then the original quality gets diluted or sometimes lost.

Same thing with fried chicken. Colonel Sanders fried a very tasty bird back in the day, but now half the KFC's in America aren't fit to eat in as far as I'm concerned.

I like the idea that several doctors have had HT's done on themselves. It tells me they believed in the process. Smile

I have got the good genes so do not need one at this time. Things may change but doubtful given my family history. There are many good doctors that I would trust to do my hair. I only wish I had a good revolving mirror.

Well Dr. Mejia...if you think you DO have the good genes, you can always check and be certain via the HairDX Genetic test.

You can check out this thread, though I am sure you are familiar with the testing.

That's interesting because one of his assiatants (not Jon) who helped me with the consultation told me Dr. Epstein's staff performed the H/T on Dr. E. I think he told me this because I was also interested in Dr. Shapiro! If so than he is just a typical salesman! Frankly thats how he came off in the first place.

But he did get a hair transplant that looks 100% undetectable and should be extremely pleased with from whomever performed it!

Hey Please Grow,

Dr. Epstein only told me he had one done. I thought it looked 100% natural. One of his assistants told me his staff performed it. Regardless of who did it Dr. Epstein should be very pleased!

I'm meeting Dr. Ron Shapiro on Tuesday. I'll ask him about it. : ) I'm very fortunante Dr. Shapiro is in the area where I live. 2 excellent surgeons giving me a thural consultation if very informative.
