I've just started on Proscar 1/4 tab per day. If hairloss wasn't bad enough, I am now worried about a severe decrease in sex-drive, libido or impotence. If taking Proscar will reduce my enjoyment in sex, (or my performance) I honestly do not think I can make that sacrafice, therefore making it pointless to consider HT.
I have been taking Tribulus, a testosterone booster supliment for muscle gain, (but also helps sex drive)

& wonder will this counter-effect the proscar?

A VERY SMALL percentage of men have the "sexual side effects". Very small. Personally, I think guys read it and go mental and suddenly many are "experiencing" it. The first time I was about to have a 3'some with two girls, I couldn't get an erection to save my life. Seriously, it WAS NOT about to do its job; it just laid there like an inanimate object no matter what. Was it broken? No, it was simply all mental; period. Just stop worrying and put it out of your mind. If you focus on that worry, you'll fool yourself into thinking its killing you.

Pushing has a point.............I think you can "self-induce" symptoms if you're not careful.

Don't worry about it............what can worrying help?? You just have to take a "wait and see" attitude. If you REALLY notice a decrease in sex drive your worst case scenario is that you stop taking it, pronto, right?

The last time I had a threesome it was between me and two girls that didn't know each other.
I was in the middle trying to break up a catfight. I even had my grafts nearly pulled out.
I must have been high on propecia to have made that scheduling error.
Be very careful.

If you are one of the rare patients that has pronounced side effects from Propecia, do not worry. Simply stop taking the drug and the side effects will subside. You could also consider cutting the dose in half.

You should be fine though. Most are.

So the catfights should subside? Because I was quite limp for a few days afterwards.
