We performed 3,300 grafts on this patient one year ago. We completely rebuilt his hairline and thickened up the area behind.

Photos are of results sent by patient himself one year out

In last photo the hair in the after picture is combed to expose the transplant hair.

Spex,

Thanks for posting.

Do you have any close-ups of the hairline you can present? Since the photos are much smaller than you typically present, it's more dififcult to fully appreciate the result.

Based on a few of the photos presented, the hairline looks a little sparse, overly straight, and even a little pluggy. Knowing Dr. Feller's approach to hairline reconstruction, I imagine it's the lack of clarity in the photo rather than reality.

In particular, here is one of the photos I'm referring to:

If you could post closeup examples, I'd appreciate it.

Best wishes,

Bill (Falc)

Falc, i concur although these were sent direct to the doc by the patient himself - I will email the patient and ask him to send us over some clearer pics to show Cool

No worries.

I will suggest he himself come online here to give his own feedback.

Anderson,

Like any other member, you are welcome to your opinion. But I think you'll be hard pressed to convince anyone that Dr. Feller is producing mediocre results.

There is plenty of evidence on this forum of impressive surgical and result photos in the "Results Posted by Leading Hair Restoration Clinics" section.

You are new here, but seem to have already developed some pretty strong unfavorable opinions and have posted on a few Dr. Feller related threads now. Why?

I trust that you are here to learn and/or help others, and not to defame the good name of a world renowned surgeon. Agenda driven posts aren't tolerated here whether made by a surgeon or a patient member. Just as we hold surgeons accountable for their actions, so must we hold posting members accountable.

See "Maintaining a safe and fair environment on our forum for patients and physicians"

Regarding this case, I'm not attempting to stir up controversy. I'm simply making genuine observations based on the photos I'm seeing. This is why I requested close-up and better quality photos to get a better picture of the result.

Spex,

Thanks for understanding my intent and working with the patient to get clearer pictures of his new hair.

Best wishes,

Bill (Falc)

I agree Falc. I also noticed this photo right away. Now if this was posted by certain other docs, say Armani (I know, I know), everyone would be jumping all over this. Like Falc, I'm not trying to stir anything up, just being honest.

It's all good guys - Thanks for being honest in your giving your opinion. Having spoken with this patient previously via email i know he is a very happy chap and i feel his pics are not doing his HT justice. We can clearly see from his immed post ops his hairline is in actual fact more rounded and not as straight as it appears in his own post ops - I will work on getting some more clearer pics from him and as mentioned also attempt to get him online himself to give you his own opinion.
However i do have his 8 month pics which are clearer which were previously posted by me. See link -

8 month hairline close up pics

Hope this helps.

Spex,

That's a much clearer example of the hairline and as I posted in his 8 month photo album thread, I think it's a stellar job.

I look forward to seeing updated photos in the near future.

Best wishes,

Bill (Falc)

Hi Falc, here are some pics taken by the patient yesterday in repsonse to your request. The patient is intending to do a write up for the forum and share his own thoughts on his experience and the result of his HT.

Hope these recent clear pics clarify any concerns over the previous unclear ones.

Again these are the patients own pictures - who agrees the previous pics he provided were far from an accurate representation of the real end result. He hopes these are a little better.
