This patient came to see Dr. Wong in January of 2002 for hair restoration and at the end of the day Dr. Wong and team extracted 3476 grafts in one session. Keep in mind that in January of 2002, this was an unusually high number for any clinic so this was considered a good session. This was the time period that Dr. Wong and Dr. Hasson started to develop their techniques for larger sessions.

Two years later, in 2004, the patient returned for an additional 2945 grafts.

Last month he returned for a visit and these are his results with 6421 grafts.

By the way, his hair is wet in all of the photos.

His surgery Looks great Joe. I was wondering if the pt dyed his hair prior to the surgery, or has it just gotten lighter over the years? The salt-n-pepper look definitely looks better on him, very natural looking.

Thanks Bill. What I like about showing cases like this is that they help to highlight that the docs have been cranking out great results for years. The sessions may not have been as big then as they are today, but the quality is there and these results can hold there own against any other performed more recently.

A magnificent result. The hairline is just right. Congratulations to the Dr Wong & clinic for achieving an amazing, undetectable transformation.

Spineguy,

Two things make the patient's hair color look different. First, the before pics were with our old 35mm film camera and taken with flash. Flash makes the hair a bit darker than reality. I know this sounds counter-intuitive but it's the truth. Look at my before pics and you'll see what I mean. My hair was never that dark in my life. Second, he is six and half years older now so some salt/pepper is creeping in simply due to his age.

Thank you Dr. Carmen.

Bosco and Dabuski, thank you for your comments.

Uncjim,

HA!

Jupiter,

I believe he has about 2000 to 2500 left based on Dr. Wong's notes. Thing is, he's happy and isn't interested in any more hair. Because of that we're happy.
