In the may issue of Men's Health they say that "Adding 1.5 tablespoons of flaxseed to your diet could save your hair. Taiwanese researchers found that 50 milligrams a day of lignanas, the disease-fighting compounds in flaxseed, slowed hair loss in 9 out of 10 participants in 6 months."

Has anyone heard anything about this? Thought it was interesting and wanted to see if anyone had any info or comments on this.

Interesting, Hurley. Thanks for posting that.

I do know that Omega 3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory effects- so you never know...

Flaxseed is very beneficial for over all health and could have a positive effect on hair loss. Either way it doesn't hurt to incorporate it into your diet.
