I was just reading a post from Spex on pre-op instructions and he recommended going off multivitamins before a ht, though another post on ideal pre-op routine said that one should begin taking multivitamins before the procedure. I was wondering what other forum members think is the best?

Julius,
Multi-vitamins can thin the blood which can make for an extra bloody surgery. That's why most clinics advise stopping them several weeks prior to the procedure. Once surgery is over however, feel free to resume the use of multi-vitamins. I'd be curious to hear why someone said to use multi-vitamins prior to the procedure.
