I am a 41 year old male with Androgenetic Alopecia or Pattern Baldness. I started developing a bald patch when I was 32. My father is British and my mother Dutch. About half the males on both sides of the family have Androgenetic Alopecia. My Dad is nearly completely bald with just a little hair around the sides and back of the head. We also both suffered from acne during adolescence which is another sign of excess dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
I was introduced to this Thai herbal baldness product via word of mouth by a Thai friend. Of course I was a little sceptical at first but my friend insisted that the treatment worked. After all it had already been tested for more than 4 years on both male and female Thai clients with excellent results. This was the information I needed to boost my confidence because at the end of the day the price is virtually irrelevant compared to the time and effort one must commit (10 to 20 minutes per day bent over the wash basin massaging the treatment onto the head for several months). Actually it is not absolutely necessary to apply the treatment every single day, but 3 times per week should be the minimum. From the day I started applying the treatment, which looks like green porridge, it had a good feel about it and I could sense that something beneficial was occurring. This further enhanced my confidence to keep at it. From the beginning of May until the end of August I diligently massaged my head with the 'green porridge', talking regularly with my Thai friend who ‘held my hand’ along the way. But I am a bit of an impatient person and towards the end of August I told my friend that I was beginning to have a few doubts. A few days later I was given a small bottle containing 50ml of the extra strong treatment, a concentrate of the regular treatment. I poured some onto a cotton ball and started rubbing it on my head. Almost immediately I felt a tingling itchy sensation. I poured some more onto the cotton and continued rubbing the treatment on my head. I did this 5 times during the course of that day which in hindsight was too much, but I could feel something big was occurring and I wanted results. What was happening was that the DHT was rapidly being squeezed out of from its resting place. It was like the bond between the hair follicles and the DHT had been broken. Tiny flake like crystals appeared on the surface of my head and it felt like some of the DHT was also seeping down inside the back of my head, pulled down by natural gravity. I wanted to take a shower to wash this stuff off my body and for the next two weeks I showered several times a day. The following day I continued with the regular treatment and used some of the extra strength too. I felt that this was the time to rid my body of as much DHT as possible. The basin which was filled with cold tap water turned green as I spent more than one hour applying the regular treatment to my head and then rinsing it off with the cold water in the basin. With each rinsing I could feel the tiny DHT waxy crystals as they oozed out from my scalp pores. But I definitely overdid the treatment on these two days because I started to feel quite nauseas and on the third day my scalp became unbearably itchy because it had become too dry. I couldn’t sleep because of the itchiness and had to run down to the local shop to buy some soothing olive oil. The oil helped reduce the itchiness and I was able to get some sleep. The following day I decided to stop the treatment for a few days. Even though I still felt a little sick, I also knew that I was well on the way to recovery. With less DHT on my head it was as if my load had been lightened and I could feel some new hairs popping up. I continued with the regular treatment for another month until it was obvious my hair was coming back again. During this final month it took 12, one hour plus, rinses in the washbasin to clear most of the DHT. Simply wetting my head with water, applying some treatment, and then using the greenish water in the basin to continually rinse my head was sufficient to extract the DHT through my scalp pores (see photographs). The important advantage of bending over the wash basin is that gravity pulls the DHT down through the pores on the top of the head. It's a back building exercise but it's better than having too much DHT going down the back of the neck! |
