I had heard that follicles were "immune priveleged," which is to say your immune system would not attack foreign follicles(from another doner) as though they represented a danger.
Does anyone know more about this? I must of course be wrong, because of course the hair loss problem therefore could be a easily solved: just kidnap your neighbour with that flowing head of hair stick him in the closet for life, and benefit from his lustrous locks? (kidding)
But seriously anyone know about the rejection rates of foreign follicles?
