I'm new to this, so bear with me. I'm a 27yr old guy from the UK. I used to be very athletic, but have stopped all sports due to loss of self confidence. I have tried Minoxidil for over a year (highest strength). not only was this costly, but I didn't see any difference. I have saved up £3000. I hoped this would cover my first (of maybe 3) HT in the UK. I went for a consultation with the highly recommended Dr Bessam Farjo in Manchester, but was extremely disheartened to find that he said it would cost £4500 for 1500 grafts in the first op on the front of my head. I would need another op on the front and a third op on the crown.

Does £4500 for 1500 grafts seem about right? I thought this was very expensive. Also, can anyone recommend any surgeonsin the UK or europe? They seem to be in short supply in the UK.
