I can not understand how you can take prescription in USA for Proscar if you have MPB. Proscar can be prescribed ONLY if you suffer from BHP (prostate problem). That is fully illegal action by the doctors (violating the Propecia license and patent). In my country there is no way for me to get a prescription for Proscar because of that.

BUT, it looks like in USA the doctors are much more subtle when it comes to patient's money,and you are able to make it in a sleazy way.
