Ive heard that that liquid minox works better than the foam version, and I have also heard it the other way around. So what I am asking here is, could I just use both?

Sure u could.
But why would u want to?
The system of the drug delivery is the difference between the two.
At the end of the day its Minoxidil.
Save your pennies and choose one and give it a try for six months then evaluate.

Bleach,

There is an interesting discussion about this going on here.

Some are saying that the propylene glycol found in the minoxidil liquid itself can be a contributor to hair growth, thus the liquid is superior as a hair regrowth agent. Personally, I have not heard of this before, but will certainly be doing some research on this in the near future.

Best wishes,

Bill (Falc)

i actually use both myself

at the heart of things this is for two reasons

1: i use the liquid at night since it takes FOREVER to dry and won't matter to my pillow and bed if i have a hole in my head. i use the foam in the morning so that it will dry quickly before work to where you can't see through my hair grouping together

2. using the liquid as well helps to put off a little bit of time in between having to buy the more expensive foam (i use the generic liquid)

it seems to be working fine for me, i've been using both since late june and i'm having hope...
