The Hair Transplant Network and Hair Loss Talk have joined teams to help patients fight against baldness!

We support Hair Loss Talk as they have joined our efforts to help fellow hair loss sufferers fight against hereditary baldness. Additionally, Hair Loss Talk supports our efforts and sponsors the coalition of independent hair restoration physicians.

Hair Loss Talk is not only an educational resource site for hair loss sufferers like us but provides a service for people to buy clinically proven hair loss solutions online to fight against balding at a low price. I encourage you to browse their online catalog.

Like anything else, however, it is important to research any product before purchasing it in order understand the benefits and risks associated with it.

Joining teams with a credible site such as Hair Loss Talk enables hair loss sufferers to better educate themselves in order to make informed decisions whether considering hair loss medication or hair transplant surgery.

Cheers,

Falc

I have found Propecia very effective in treating my alopecia.Over a period of a few months,it's almost completely restored hair cover to the bald patches. And I also know a very good source of generic propecia;-you can get it very reliably and cheaply from (LINK REMOVED) have given me good service-even sending a free consignment when one order went astray in the mail.

I've been looking online for a reliable source for Propecia / Finesteride.
Has anyone used 4RX.COM (Canada)for prescriptions? I've read good things about them, but I didn't want to act too soon (sound familiar?).
Thanks!

You have to be careful where you get your genereics from. SOme physiicans have tested generic supplies and have not found them to be consistent with the 1 mg of finasteride. Buyer beware.

Hi Ive been on Dut for about 3 weeks now. Im currently taking .5mg every other day. Im sure most of you familiar with Brian's graph show that this dosage blocks significant more DHT than proscar-finasteride. Im but im not sure as to how accurate the graph is. can any of you help?

Is .5 mg every other day good enough.

regimen:
.5mg dut every other day
5% minoxidil night
2% minoxidil morning (5% is too messy)

$65.99 for a 3-pack of Rogaine foam at the hairlosstalk online store!? That's ridiculous. And that's not including shipping.

I can get the exact same 3-pack at the corner drugstore or supermarket at full price for $49.99. Or on sale for $39.99.

Gangster,

I never said they were the cheapest, only that they sell legitimate generic products.

I'm glad to hear that there are lower prices on hair loss treatments in other legitimate stores.

J-heezy,

I recommend starting your own thread to ensure you get the maximum benefit and help from our forum community.

Falc, I have done some searches, etc. as I know there have been many different recommended sites to order propecia and/or generic propecia. Other than hairlosstalk website, are there any others that you know are good to order regular and/or generic propecia? Thanks.

Sah1974,

To be honest, I haven't done a lot of additional research on legitimate online pharmacies other than Hair Loss Talk. I am certain they are out there, but I advise proceeding with caution.

I have not posted in a LONG time.. anyway, my Propecia was getting so expensive ( 200.00 for 90 days). That I decided to go Generic. After reading many posts on this site and elsewhere I bought from a website called betterlifepharmacy. Does anyone else have experience with these guys? there are approved through pharmacychecker.com

Let me explain more. They require an actual written prescription which Dr Shapiro wrote me and I faxed it. The 90 tabs of Generic Propecia are from company in India called IndSwift. I looked them up and they look very legitimate! The Generic name goes by "Finotip".

Anyway, any feedback would be appreciated! I know the patent wore off this last year in US and I can not understand what is taking the FDA so long to approve the generics. This only cost me 38.00 ! . .. plus a small S&H.

btw... I am still really happy with my HT from Dr Shapiro's office in 2004! Actually Dr Rose did it. It looks great and my hairline keeps my youthful. The propecia stopped anymore loss that I can tell.

If this generic is not good, I will pay the extra, but am hoping I can keep the cost down.

Peter88, I checked you link and see yours came from Cipla. This is suppose to be a very legitamte company in India. I am not sure about the brand I bought ( another India company called IndSwift Generic name goes by "Finotip").

I am hoping someone can log on and tell us more about these companies.

Also, can you tell me why you chose that online pharmacy? Trying to find a reputable one.

Hi hair4good,

I am based in India and never heard of IndSwift. The other reason could be that i never made an effort to research on such products. As far as I knw, Docs in India prescribe two drugs
1) Finax- This product is by Dr. Reddy's
2) Finpecia- This product is by Cipla.

Both these companies are pharma giants, NYSE listed companies and have got huge presence in the international market. So may be u could check with some doc and enquire abt these 2 products. Also I use Finpecia.

Regards,
Sandy

1rx.biz & low-cost-rx.com both India.

It's called finasteride FRT-% from French Remedies.

I take 1.25 mg a day. I've been on it for a month. No. noticable hair growth. How long does it take? Are my pills legit or jive?

I buy finpecia from wholesalehairloss.com. The delivery is pretty fast and it comes shipped from india worldwide. Cheapest I can find at the moment. Does anyone know where I can source minoxidil foam in the UK? I really want to try it as the liquid makes my hair greasy. Frown
