If you're going to respond to Minoxidil it normally takes 3-6 months, after 4 if you have had absolutely no response, growth or shedding, then you might not want to carry on, but if you have any response at all I'd keep going for 6.

When you say no positive response, is that not even a reduction in hair loss?
