What else is Rogaine used for. Can it be used for artiritic symptoms? Reason I'm asking is because I need to ask Dr at VA. If it is I can get free prescriptions. I know it helps hair but I sure hope it helps prostate or artiritic conditions

To my knowlege Rogain does not help arthitis or prostate. Rogain is basically a hypertensive drug that when developed for high blood pressure didnt work that great but had a side effect of growing hair with some of the subject-- then the company Upjohn (now Pfizer) begin testing it for hairloss.

As far as prostate--you might be thinking of propecia which in the larger 5mg amount is called Proscar and it IS indicated for the prostate- BPH.
