well i m 21 and really managed to stop hairloss by ayurveda treatment prevalent in india
then i thought to regain some hair
so i started prop and rogain with a doctors prescription
but it started my hairloss again so i stopped taking propecia
now i m only on minoxidil

plz help me my hairloss is still continued but with a much slow pace than before

I am also from india.
Actually what happens is, Propecia (finasteride) stops hair loss and minoxidil will help to simulate new growth (this I understood from all my readings).
And I also read that when you started using Propecia you will have some shedding (for some days). This period you loose all your hair which is in resting state where new hair growth begins.
So, you decide your self whether to go for finasteride or ayurveda. Because propecia’s main job is to stop hair loss which you already got from ayurveda.

As I am also from India, I want to know what medicine you took and from which doctor?
And why did you stop ayurveda when it was doing its job?
Have you tried ayurvedic medicine along with minoxidil? If so for how long?

if anything, the rogaine could have exacerbated your hair loss. i tried rogaine and it irritated my scalp - dry/red/itchy. my dermatologist finally told me to stop using it. i highly doubt the propecia will make the situation worse - it may temporarily shed some hairs; however, it will not irritate your scalp similar to how rogaine does.
