I have been using it for the last six months or so and believe that it has thickened up my midscalp and crown a bit. According to Dr. Lee, it has a three-pronged attack: inhibits the synthesis of DHT, converts testosterone into estrogen in the scalp, and blocks the androgen receptor sites.

I've been using the 2% for about a year and wasn't really sure if helped, it's hard to say. I'm sure it didn't hurt. I apply it once a day, at night. The only thing I don't really like is the smell, which isn't all that bad, and it dries out my scalp some. I do use his 2% niz shampoo to help with the dry scalp. Besides it is a great shampoo and a part of my small regime.
