I just received shipment of my order of generic Proscar (Finasteride). I ordered online from Hairsave International (website is www.propecia-proscar.com).
I'm concerned about what I received. The website says it will come from Brazil and is manufactured by Merck, a reputable pharmacutical company. The pills do appear as most do, inside a little plastic bubble on top which you push through the back silver lining - I hope this makes sense.

My concerns - The pill packages ( I think there are about 8 pills in a packet) did not come in a box, they were taped together 2 packets each?? Also, trademark information said Merck but the other words word foreign......Finasterida, generica?? And, I can't tell for sure because of the foreign words but I think the expiration dates are 10/06 and 11/06..........since I'm taking 1.25 mg every other day I have a 8 month supply and will surpass this!

I know several would avoid ordering online.......I'm not wanting to start that debate. For those of you who DO order online, do you order from Hairsave International or have you received a shipment like the one I received with foreign writing and not in a box?

I'm very concerned about this and would appreciate replies from those of you ordering online.

I have ordered and recieved medicines exactly as you described with no problems at all. Its just cheaper packaging/processing situation. I really think it is a non-issue.
