Hi all, just found these forums recently and they are a great read! Smile

I've just received my first supply of Rogaine Foam and I've just a quick question to other users/ experts.

I travel from time to time due to work and won't be able to apply the foam maybe one weekend every month. Is it ok for me to miss two-three days of use and continue when I get back? Would this have a bad effect, or am ok skipping the odd application once a month?

I did a quick search but couldn't find anything on this.

I've also heard one application a day is sufficient, rather than two? Can anyone comment on this?

Thanks in advance!

I would say its ok to miss a couple of days application once a month but others may disagree.

Hey

dude, I use the application only once because i became lazy, but it definetly works better used twice. Make sure it reaches your scalp. I have missed a couple od days here and there. They are doing studies comparing neosh101 I think and have trials for missing upto two weeks and it seems to hold ok. make sure you use finasteride in conjunction with it. It makes a huge difference.

1.25mg finasteride
drugstore.com 100 pills $225
quarter them
5% rogaine foam
samsclub $50 4 month supply

vanity my downfall

People miss applications all the time. I would think it would be okay if missed couple days a month.

Hi all, just another quick question for those in the know Smile

My hair is diffused thinning about 2-3 inches long (i find it looks a little thicker when longer, and easier to work with) but im worried the foam is not getting onto my scalp properly. I'm rubbing the foam into my scalp, but my hair is getting quite damp too...is this ok?

I'm just worried it might be mostly in my hair and not on my scalp...altho i do spend time massaging as much as possible.

Is this an issue others face, or is this normal?

Sorry for all the questions btw, I'm new to all this Smile

Again, thanks in advance...

I too get the stuff in my hair, but as long as you get it on your scalp I think you will be okay. I rub it on my scalp lightly, but reluctant to massage because I think it could be bad for the hair. Not sure, but that is my opinion. I also heard that putting pressure or pressing on your scalp would help absorb the treatment. Maybe even inversion postures while you put it on will help. The foam is designed to increase blood flow correct? Than why not have excess blood circulating through your head while applying the treatment? Anyone else have opinion on that?

Hi guys, just a quick update. Just started my second month and I'm shedding loads. Hoping it stops soon as my hair is looking bad (I'm a diffused thinner). Fingers crossed tho! :/

Also, the last two days I've felt a little dizzy for a while after application. Does this mean I've applied too much? (I think I may have went OTT since the weekend). Will this stop, or should I hold off on using this for while?
