Can anyone tell me please why surgeons make the coalition list of surgeons and in the future some are removed from the list.Mark Baxa is one of the doctors that springs to mind.What are the reasons for these surgeons being removed

Surgeons recommended and members of the Coalition are selected based on a high standard set by this community. Those that don't continue to meet that standard are removed.

Sometimes however, a surgeon may select to no longer be a part of our community.

We are confident in the surgeons we recommend since they are continually evaluated however, this isn't to say that other surgeons also do high quality work.

Regarding Mark Baxa, he was once recommended on the Hair Transplant Network but never a member of the Coalition. To see our standards for recommendation and the Coalition, click here. Though Dr. Baxa feels confident in his approach to hair transplant surgery, we no longer recommend him because his approach is not in line with our standards.
