As I don't think any members have yet to comment on a HT by Dr Nakatsui who is a coalition member and a couple of people in Alberta have asked about him I have posted photos of my surgery with him which took place yesterday.
I'll fill in all the details later of the experience and my opinions. Feel free to comment on the job. He trained with Hasson and Wong, does FUT dense packing and uses lateral slit technique Total grafts 4312. link below. |

Agio,
Thanks for your post and congratulations on your recent hair transplant experience with Dr. Nakatsui. You are correct that there haven't been many patient shared experiences of Dr. Nakatsui. I know I will for one follow your progress with great interest. I look forward to reading your detailed experience and following your monthly progress. Thank you Falc-I live in Edmonton and would never have found him if not for this site. The site has been excellent in many ways for me.

Agio,
I live in Calgary and i have been reading up on Dr Nakatsui. Can you update your blog with your recent picture? did you say 12k for 4212 Grafts? what does it mean by single, doubles and triples. Grafts:4312 Singles-1002. Doubles-2905. Triples-405. |

That is the breakdown by number of hiars per each graft. Singles, for instance, are grafts with just one hair and are typically placed along the hairline for a natural look. Back in the day, my 'plugs' were fours, fives, sixes, etc. A coalition doc who looked at it said I even had some eight counters up in the crown. That was back when no micrscopes were used. 100? 'mini' grapfts by Latham's Hair Clinic - 1991 (Removed 50 plugs by Cooley 3/08.) 2750 FU 3/20/08 by Dr. Cooley My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Cooley Current regimen: 1.66 mg Proscar M-W-F Rogaine 5% Foam - every now and then AndroGel - once daily Lipitor - 5 mg every other day Weightlifting - 2x per week Jogging - 3x per week |
