On August 4th I had my second procedure with Dr. Epstein. Everything went well. Dr. Epstein and his staff went out of their way to make me feel at home and relaxed. I am very anxious for the final results but know that won't be for a year. Dr. Epstein said when the second procedure has matured I should have about 60 FU/sq cm. This should be enough to provide some good density from what I've read. The recipient area for both procedures was the front 2/3 of my scalp and the crown was not addressed since I plan on wearing a lace crown piece there once the transplants have matured.

TTDS,

I'm really glad to hear that everything went well. I'm sure that Dr. Epstein and his staff have done everything to ensure you have a first-rate result.

Do you have any immediately postoperative photos you can post for us?

I encourage you to create a hair loss weblog to share your experience and photos so we can follow your progress.

Best wishes,

Bill (Falc)
