Gorpy,

Things look great...but I agree with everyone else. For what you received, the surgery came out nicely...but it does appear a little thin. You can always go back and add density...depends on how badly the hair greed monster gets you Wink

Thanks Falc,

It's easy for people to look at me and say "Oh, you're a 50 year old geezer. It looks natural for you." In some ways I agree. I've gone from a balding man to a naturally thinning man. I'm very pleased with my new hair in terms of its naturalness and placement. At the same time, another 10 to 15 per cm2 would still look very natural and frankly, still not very thick (Virgins don't understand what a transplant does in terms of density). But I like Dr. Keene's placement skill and I think another small procedure would look very nice.

____________
2700 Total Grafts w/ Keene 9/28/05
663 one's = 663
1116 two's = 2232
721 three's = 2163
200 four's = 800
Hair Count = 5858

1000 Total Grafts w/Keene 2/08/07
Mostly combined FU's for 2600+ hairs

Gorpy,

I agree with you my friend. I think adding some density would still give you a very natural look. I also like Dr. Keene's placement on you...it does indeed look natural. Keep us posted on your decision!

Gorpy,

First - just wanted to say a big thanks to you for the documentation of your journey and what you've given back, my friend!

I really think your HT looks great. Yes, maybe a little thin but the hairline is nice and natural-looking and blends with what you had very naturally. You're in a great situation..............if you're content with what you have...cool Cool, if not, and you have the donor and can afford to make another pass and add density, you're in a perfect position to do so..............totally your call!!

Hair greed can get the better of each of us. I need to post some updates but I'm likely in a similar position with the need for possibly a little more density in the front................who knows?? Confused

Let me know where you land, Gorpy!

Thanks for the outstanding support. Bank, I tend to take the position you mentioned - I am in a good spot. I have my full crown, extra donar hair and a knowledge of what I want (now based on experience). Using the term hair greed is almost too harsh for what I want, although I know we all toss the term around in fun.

I'll keep you guys updated.

Gorp

Gorpy,

Thanks for creating such a well documented and impressive photo album and for detailing your hair count in addition to grafts. Your results are clearly very natural and impressive.

Re-establishing your hairline certainly is a positive and dramatic change.

Best wishes, Pat
