I have narrowed down my choices for a surgeon to either Dr. Paul Rose in Tampa, or Dr. Robert Jones in Toronto. I have met in person with Rose and have had phone and email consultations (including photos) with Jones. They both concur on my course of treatment.

I have heard nothing but praise for both of these men, and they both seem to be highly regarded in the field of hair transplantation.

Both are recommended by this site, and both are members of the IAHRS.

As should be the case for anyone considering a HT, money is not the issue. I am willing to pay whatever it takes to get the best results possible. But one doctor quoted me a rate considerably less, so if the quality is the same, I would be inclined to go there.

Can anyone offer any reason, other than money (i.e. - differences in aesthetic result, scar development, shock loss, recovery time, etc.) why I should go to one or the other?

Thanks for any help you can provide. I am targeting June for my first procedure, so I am starting to get to the point where I am excited and anxious, but also thinking of lots of questions as it comes down to the wire.
