There were 1639 grafts transplanted. They consisted of 74 one’s, 1293 two’s, and 272 three’s. Two pics are attached: one before and one after surgery. If I can't put figure out how to put two pics in one post, I will attach it to a second post.

Now.. about the real topic at hand. haha. Seriously, you folks wanted me to send you pics so that you would possibly sway your open mind about this doctor. So let's say that me and a few other happy clients actually spoke up on his behalf with our pics. Would you really, honestly change your viewpoint and say positive things about someone that sued you and doesn't pay some membership charge? C'mon.. Smile

Now for the non-owners of the site, non-100+ posts that are just like me that don't know which doctor to go to in your area. My intent is to say to be careful that some docs may have a bad rap on this site for the wrong reasons.

mgoldberg,

I can appreciate that you are happy with your hair transplant experience but what you have to understand is, that we recommend surgeons based on consistency in results, not just one patient.

Dr. Deyarman was removed based on Pat's observations and patient posted concerns. Even some members of his own staff lost confidence in his ability to perform state of the art hair transplantation and left.

So you don't think we are being unfair, shortly after he was removed, know that Dr. Deyarman was asked to present to our community recent impressive photo samples to prove that the cases in question were flukes after he was removed.

One of his technicians joined our forum for a short time after his removal and admitted online that there were staffing problems and they were going to work to correct the issue. This was the last time we heard from their clinic publicly until this issue presented itself.

Had Dr. Deymarman chosen to go the route of providing us evidence that he is once again producing quality and consitent results instead of through legal actions, he would have been reconsidered for the Coalition.

I am however, happy that you are satisfied with your results.

Falc

Echoing the thoughts of many, this site is an invaluable resource and compromising the integrity would nullify much hard work done by Pat and others plus damage credibility.
As it is the US of course anyone can launch a frivolous and vexatious lawsuit.
What I find amusing is that the Doctor claims that negative posts on a message board cost him major revenue. That alone gives enormous credibility to the site and the underlying issues surrounding this 'lawsuit'

Anyone who knows the goals and objectives of this forum and understands what Pat stands for would never second guess him for removing a Doctor from the list of recommended.

There was a thread not too long ago where Pat had hinted of removing a Doctor due to him not providing updated photos etc. There were members (myself included) who immediately wanted to know which particular Doctor this was! In fear that if Pat was flirting with removing his recommendation, I/they certainly would not want to be a client of his.

This forum gives the Doctors a perfect opportunity for free 'advertising', as they can post their results and potentially lure clients with their A+ work. I'm glad to hear that mgoldberg is pleased with his, but he'll have a hell of a time finding any support or applause here based on those photos and results.

Imagine Doctor, if you spent the time, money and energy on producing results versus lawyers, court costs and a lawsuit. Cha-Ching!

My two cents,

I don't have the patience to read all the details of this specific case with Dr. DeYarmin. I will say that this message board is invaluable and unique in its ability to honestly inform the public about hair transplant surgeons and it would be a shame if one Dr. could threaten the integrity of the board because he was offended.
My wife tried to find a similar message board for breast augmentation but could only find phony white-washed boards that did not allow full feedback from patients. What a shame.

Dear Forum members

I can give you my point of view in this regard.

I probably will fall in same category as Dr DeYarman, I was a member but with persistant high quality results I was removed from the forum and I have lost a lot of busniess not because of inquires i used to get but my competetors have used it as an excused that look Dr Humayun was a fraud and he has ben expelled from the forum and you name it they have said it. SO I know it hurts
But, I took it as a challange nd I have bought microscopes now and as I am a trained microsurgeon during my training as a plastic surgery, i am presently teaching my staff how to use a microscope and working on their eye hand coordination while looking else where. I dont know how many of you are technical people but it needs time.
Very soon I will be sending the pictures of my staff doing the slivering under microscope as Iwas told that it is the minimum I need to be a member.
Although, During this time I have been selected as a core curriculum commeettee member for ISHRS, a faculty member of Orlando Live Surgery as a recognition that i produce high standard results.
Now I could have gone the same direction but I took as a point that ok if people want that i will do it, even though every one knows my point of view with respect of Microscope. I embraced it and I think those doctors who are willing to improve should listen to the public and see whats the demand, if that a geniune one they must meet those one if not then argue in the favour of your point.
I do know that Pat is a geniune person as some one approached him about one of my case but he took that lead off the post cause he was not sure whether it was true or false, so i am sure he would have been honest and truthful with the other doctors as well.
SO I would be happy to support the forum because this forum has made people aware of some fraudulent doctors (unfortunately there are few black sheeps).
SO keep it up Pat.

I am a medical advisor to Lexington International and Hairmax. What ever I say is my personal opinion.

Dr. Mohmand is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network

Your going about this the right way ,unlike some of the arrogant and insecure others that want to take legal action.
Your work was always nice and the use of microscopes will only enhance that.
Your not in the same category as DeYarmin as his work was the reason he was booted not because he didnt meet microscope standard.
Kudos to you and your staff for taking this step .
Be sure to post pics of your work including pics of the techs utilizing the scopes.
You could be back here in no time.

Dr. Mohmand,

In my opinion, physicians who are dedicated to a high level of quality patient first service will continue to adapt to using the latest techniques and technologies to deliver the best results.

Kudos to you for rising to the challenge to further improve your clinic rather than deciding to take legal action against a patient based community for holding high standards.

I look forward to discussing the possibility of recommendation with you once again if all your technicians are now regularly using microscopes to dissect follicular unit grafts.

Thanks for your support and Best wishes,

Falc
