Just had my first hair transplant with Dr. Lindsey in McLean, Va. The staff there was skillful, the procedure was virtually painless, and the work itself looks great. Take a look at my blog Hairloss Weblog
Within the next week or so I will be updating with my post-op pictures, and then updating every other week or so after that.

PhysEdhead,

You've selected a great surgeon. Dr. Lindsey does fine work.

From your pictures, you seem to still have a good amount of natural hair. Remember that hair transplant surgery does nothing to stop hair loss, so if you intend on attempting to stop the natural progression of male pattern baldness, you may want to consider speaking to a physician about Propecia and Rogaine. These nonsurgical treatments are typically pretty good at slowing down or stopping hair loss.

I look forward to seeing your postoperative photos and following your progress.

Best wishes,

Falc

Thanks Falc. I've updated my blog with pictures from one hour post-op and today. I've been on Propecia for about 4 years, and it pretty much put a halt to all hair loss since then.

The work looks great, I'm sure you'll have a very nice cosmetic improvement. Of course, many of us on the site would have been already overjoyed having as much native hair as you had. I'm not sure if having an HT would have ever crossed my mind with such minimal loss.

Congrats!
