Hi I am 27 and my wife and hair dresser noticed that my hair isn't as thick as it use to be. I have been looking at the causes of hair loss and understand that it is a hormone thing, but I have bad dandruff and was wondering if that has anything to do with my hair loss. Also i am confused with what product i should be trying there is so much information that I don't really know where to start. Some help would be great. Thanks

Canadian,
Most hair loss is hereditary rather thah hormonal. But if you suspect another cause, I recommend consulting with a dermatologist. Male pattern baldness can be treated with Propecia (finasteride) and Rogaine (minoxidil) quite effectively in most cases. Hair regrowth is less common, but possible. You can also try Nizoral or Revita shampoo containing active ingredient ketoconazole which has been said to be a "weak" DHT inhibitor. Using this as an adjunct treatment to the above may also prove to be helpful. I hope this helps. Falc To learn about how I restored my hair, read my hair restoration story with pictures.
