Thanks for your research and time Robert. I have a problem with company's making broad claims that could be false. It seems like more of a marketing tool than actual research and proof!

So far I think I'm the only one to post here that I have used Revivogen...and if it is suppose to work for 88%, then darn, I'm one of the 12 lowly percent that it didn't work for! In one years time, I lost significant amounts of hair, and I did use both minoxodil and revivogen faithfully as directed. Sorry for the disappointment...maybe you'll be different...however...I do like their shampoo, not because it stopped hairloss, but using it made my head and hair feel great!

The thing about Revivogen is, that the science really backs the product up. It really should work well as a topical DHT-inhibitor. I have heard of success stories, but nothing really overwhelming. However, if you think about it, the price really isnt all that bad - about $30 a month. If it works, thats nothing at all, really.

By the way, Dr. Shapiro didnt perform my hair transplant procedure. Dr. Cooley did.

Hiya Robert,

Well, if Revivogen works for some, that's awesome. It just didn't work for me. I'd still be interested to hear from someoe on this board who has had a good experience with it. Yes, $30 a month isn't bad, but truthfully, spending an extra $20 a month gets me Propecia, which is now what I am using to see if that works. Maybe I'm just one of the lower percentiles where nothing but HT works. Oh well! Unlucky me I guess!

I hear ya, falceros. I don't personally use Revivogen - I don't think I need it. I have started using American Crew's line of Copper Peptide shampoo's and conditioners for dry hair and I like that pretty good. Topical DHT inhibition sounds good - like I said, it looks good on paper but I just have not seen enough conclusive evidence that it works.

I know this topic is kinda old but I saw it on the topic list and had to post. I have recently been using Revivogen for just a few months now and I'd have to say that my experience with it has been good so far. I bought the three month supply and a bottle of both the shampoo and conditioner. I haven't really been using it like they recommend...(2 ml a night before bed every night)....I generally use it perhaps 3-4 times a week. I've always had a widows peak, but lately I have noticed that miniaturized hair along the curves of the peak are growing back thicker and longer over time, along with hair above my temples resulting in a more even squared looking hairline. All in all, I'd say that Revivogen's claim of reversing the miniturizing process brought on by DHT seem to hold up in my eyes. Now it should be noted that I do not have a very serious case of hair loss....but more of a pronounced widows peak/receding hairline. More serious cases of hair loss might not benefit from Revivogen if hair follicles have atrophied. Hope this helps, and if anyone has any questions just ask.

Azuredrake,

I recognize you posted this in July and you only have 1 post to your name, so I don't know that you'll reply to this...but...if it's working for you, that's excellent.

You are the first actual positive comment I've heard on the product. I guess I was just one of the unlucky ones.

Guys

Revivogen is only cosmetic in my opinion. These products like Nioxin,Revivogen are very expensive so I choose to use Nizoral and a good conditioning shampoo on other days. For me, I would only use

Propecia, Minoxidil, and Nizoral..
( some on here like MSM as well)

The others in myy opinion are not worth the money
